A few people have raised questions about providing this info. Why full API and not limited? Your full API allows me (and me alone) to investigate your wallet transactions, Eve Mail notifications, skill status, standings, kill history, and other related info. Doing a proper background check is necessary in order to protect corp and alliance assets, as well as conduct due diligence before providing access to comm and forums. As I'm sure you can imagine, one spy on comms during a fleet can put at risk billions of ISK worth of assets. There are few things in Eve as frustrating as being awoxed, or losing an engagement because your comms were compromised. If invited to apply, your background will be thoroughly investigated - I'll look for character sales, large ISK transfers, messages such as "I'm about to get a spy into TEST," and other red flags. This level of diligence might seem over the top for an internet spaceship game. But then again, considering the amount of time our members invest in this game, don't you want to belong to a corp that tries to protect its members? If not, there are plenty of derpy corps that way ---> That said, I do recommend you protect yourself well and use streetsmarts. Regardless of what corp you app to, always ensure you're dealing with an authorized recruiter, and deal only with that person. Recruitment scams aren't uncommon in Eve!
